Matt Daly Joins BHI as Vice President of Renewables

BHI Energy (BHI) welcomes Matthew (Matt) Daly to the organization as Vice President of Renewables.  In this role, Matt will be responsible for the strategic planning and execution of initiatives, operating performance, growth and profitability within the renewable energy markets BHI serves.

Matt brings to BHI a robust background of more than fifteen years’ leadership experience in both renewable and traditional energy industries.  He comes to BHI Energy from ABB, where he was Executive Commercial Director of Electrification Services across North America for more than three years, leading an aftermarket service business across multiple business units.

The majority of Matt’s career was with General Electric, where he worked 12 years in management roles in Renewables and Gas Power. He spent three years as Product Director in Gas Turbine Asset Management and over nine years in various positions within GE’s Onshore Wind Division where Matt managed product lines, performance upgrade platforms and global performance analytics, monitoring and diagnostics. Matt began his career in gas and steam power engineering roles with GE.

Matt is completing an MBA and MS in Finance at Auburn University and holds an MS in Mechanical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Rochester Institute of Technology, as well as a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification.
