Marie Gillman Joins BHI Energy as Vice President, Major Projects, MMC Division BHI Energy (BHI) announced today that Marie Gillman has joined the organization as Vice President, Major Projects, MMC Division. In this role, Marie will be responsible for the planning and implementation of all projects within the MMC Division – she will be developing processes and a playbook for all MMC projects to follow. Marie brings more than thirty years of technical and management experience in the nuclear industry to BHI, working with Entergy, TVA and SNC-Lavalin. Starting her career with the NY Power Authority (now Entergy), Marie held various positions at the Indian Point and Sequoyah Nuclear Plants in Operations, Engineering and Work Control, spearheading initiatives to Improve performance. She obtained her Senior Reactor Operating license at Indian Point and was a Control Room Supervisor and Shift Manager responsible for the operations of the plant. She then spent 13 years at Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA), where she held executive leadership positions managing projects, portfolios and fleet initiatives for improvement. The projects she executed while working at TVA were high priority, regulatory driven projects as well as large construction projects to improve electrical generation such as Browns Ferry Extended Power Uprate, Sequoyah Steam Generator replacement and Watts Bar U2 completion. Prior to joining BHI, she was Senior Project Director at SNC-Lavalin, managing the reactor and feeder replacement project which spanned across the 4 units at the Darlington Nuclear Site in Ontario, Canada. She last worked on planning a $6.9 billion dollar completion effort for the UI plant at the Bellefonte Nuclear Site in Alabama, USA. She holds an ME and a BE in Mechanical Engineering from Manhattan College and has earned her Six Sigma Black Belt.
