Michael Wilson Joins BHI Energy as Program Manager Maintenance Services for Valve, I&C and Electrical Services

BHI Energy (BHI) announced today that Michael Wilson has joined the Valve, I&C and Electrical Services division as Program Manager Maintenance Services Mike is currently serving as the Valve Program Manager for Talen Energy at Susquehanna Steam Electric Station.  In addition, Mike will be responsible for future additional maintenance product lines and maintenance services operations.

Mike has more than twenty seven years of operations and mechanical maintenance management experience including valve services management. He served most recently as the General Supervisor of Mechanical Maintenance, with Xcel’s Monticello Nuclear Power Plant.

Prior to joining Xcel, Mike was the Maintenance Coordinator of the Operation Control Center for Delta Airlines in Atlanta.  He served as the central point of contact and subject matter expert in managing emergency maintenance issues with the aircraft fleet. He also worked with Delta in their Technical Operations Training divisions as a Program Manager Fleets, responsible for managing their training program, and as a Systems and Turbine Instructor.  He began his career with Delta in the Machine Shop as a Aircraft Maintenance Technician.

He attended Hennepin Technical College and has earned his BWR Sr. Reactor Operator certification, his FAA Airframe & Power Plant license, and his FAA Radio & Electrical license.

Mike is currently assigned to the Susquehanna site and reports to Alan Goeke, Vice-President of BHI’s Valve, I&C and Electrical Services business.  He can be reached via email at michael.wilson(at)bhienergy.com.
