Hyperion Treatment Plant Outfall

The City of Los Angeles contracted TechCom to repair the Hyperion Treatment Plant 1-mile offshore outfall. TechCom was tasked with repairing spalled and eroded concrete at the outfall’s encasement and support pylons at the wave break point, requiring precision placement of the staging barge used. TCI was able to complete this offshore project in far less than the allotted time. Our efforts were recognized by the City’s engineering department and the Senior Construction Inspector said “TechCom was very well organized, always a step ahead of any possible occurrences, and totally professional throughout the entire project. I would frankly recommend TechCom for similar work and believe TechCom can efficiently and successfully complete any project awarded to them.”
