BHI Energy (BHI) announced that Rachelle Scheuer has joined the organization as a Director of Human Resources. In this role, Rachelle will have responsibility for supporting BHI business units with Human Resources expertise in the areas of employee relations, benefits & training. She will support the business unit leaders by advising them on employee relations issues, policy interpretation and implementation, and drive the organization’s strategic people initiatives.
Rachelle brings to BHI a diverse background of more than twenty-five years of Human Resources and Labor Relations management experience. She spent the last ten years working for US utilities, most recently with Entergy as their Manager, HR Business Partner focused on developing “ready now” succession planning and a robust union and non-union talent pipeline. Prior to that she worked with DTE Energy for nine years as a Human Resources Manager ensuring a workforce plan that supported the business units and earlier as a Labor Relations HR Expert.
Before moving into the Energy industry, Rachelle worked in the automotive industry at The Crown Group as a Human Resources Manager, leading the HR resources in launching a new John Deere plant, as well as at TRW Automotive where she was involved in launching “green field” modules operations and managed a plant closure. She served as a Sr. Labor Relations Representative at American Axle & Manufacturing. She also managed Human Resources for the Pinnacle Foods Corp’s Vlasic Pickle Plant.
Rachelle holds an MA in Industrial Relations and a BS in Business Administration from Wayne State University. She holds a Six Sigma Yellow Belt.
