Reporting Information

CNL COVID-19 Face Covering Policy

Face coverings are required to be worn (mandatory) on all CNL sites. The COVID-19 virus remains an active health risk and CNL has adopted this policy for protective and preventative measures to minimize its transmission on-site to protect staff contractors and visitors from harm.

It is our expectation that everyone wears a face covering who can do so– both inside our facilities and outside on CNL property.

Personnel in cars are expected to wear face coverings when carpooling as necessary.

Either on a CNL computer site, or by a phone call, all staff are asked each morning if they have been out of the country, been around family or other people who has contracted COVID-19, if you are experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms which include:

  • Fever (100.4˚F or higher)
  • Chills
  • Cough
  • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
  • Fatigue, muscle or body aches (not associated with injury or overuse)
  • Headache
  • New loss of taste or smell
  • Sore throat
  • Congestion or runny nose
  • Nausea or vomiting
  • Diarrhea

If you are experiencing  any of the symptoms above you are NOT to report to work but instead contact your immediate BHI supervisor to inform BHI and ultimately CNL to determine and verify if CNL requests  to perform any COVID -19 tracing protocols. You will also be communicated where you can go to be tested for COVID 19 locally.

A screening tool can be found on www.cnl.ca/screening and is accessible on CNL devices, as well as personal phones, tablets, or computers.  When prompted, log in with your CNL email and network credentials.

For those staff without any internet access, you are required to call 613-584-8030 (or ext.48030) to complete the screening over the phone.
