Al Weaver Joins BHI Energy as Director Operations for Valve, I&C and Electrical Services BHI Energy (BHI) announced today that James (Al) Weaver has joined the Valve, I&C and Electrical Services division as Director Operations. He will be responsible for the planning, implementation and development of services projects for the TVA Fleet. Al brings extensive experience with union labor management and will be responsible to develop training and qualification programs with labor unions. Al has more than twenty seven years of operations and manufacturing plant management experience as well as valve services leadership assignments of increasing responsibility for the AMES Group. He served as Vice President of Operations with AMES / BHI and had responsibility for major valve service projects in support of EPU outages. He worked for Chicago Bridge and Iron as Senior Production Manager at Palo Verde and ANO to implement major post-Fukushima upgrades and modifications. Prior to joining BHI, he was MMC Site Manager at Salem and Hope Creek nuclear plants for APTIM. In this role he had responsibility for overall management and oversight of all site staff and craft employees for execution of maintenance and modification contracts. He has attended industry professional training for senior leadership including Toyota manufacturing strategies, customer first and development of people-important manufacturing environments. Al served in the US Navy on submarines following graduation from nuclear power school.
