Mark Chokran Joins BHI as Vice President of Operations for STARS Fleet BHI Energy (BHI) announced today that Mark Chokran has been appointed Vice President of Operations for BHI’s STARS Fleet relationship. In this role, Mark will be responsible for BHI’s STARS sites. Mark has more than 33 years of Nuclear experience, including holding his Senior Reactor Operator Hot License Certification. Most recently, Mark worked as the Executive Director of Power Maintenance with Shaw and CB&I/APTIM, managing the MMC agreements for 5 nuclear sites and 1 fossil site. Prior to that, Mark worked as the Senior Director of Fleet Outages for 5 nuclear sites at NextEra. Mark also spent 9 years with Exelon, serving in several roles, including overseeing its nuclear alliance partners, managing the nuclear capital spending, serving as business operations manager at the Byron Nuclear site, and overseeing the core design and operations activities for the 11 Midwest fleet reactors. His career in nuclear began in 1985 with PECO, where he served in several roles during his 15 years with them. Mark holds his B.S. in Nuclear Engineering from Penn State, and his Management certificate from the Wharton School of Business Executive Program. Based out of the West Palm Beach, FL office, Mark reports to Jeremy Browning, Executive Vice President of BHI’s MMC Services.
