BHI was the primary contractor for DTE-Fermi 1, providing engineering and staff for license termination including health physics coverage, characterization, FSS DCGL development, License Termination Plan development, embedded piping radiological surveys and radioactive waste management. As the prime HP contractor, BHI’s work scope included project management and both technical and radiation protection support for the dismantlement, disposal, decontamination, characterization for the Unit 1 D&D project.
